Smoked Rock Salt
Description: Do you love the smell of an open camp fire? At FlavourMagic we have created a Smoked Rock Salt that brings all those childhood memories flooding back! We smoke our organic rock salt over a blend of hickory and beech wood-chips for a massive 30 HOURS to lock in that smoked flavour.
Ingredients: Then we tumble roast this with shallots, coriander, yellow MUSTARD seeds, garlic, parsley and a touch of chilli. ALLERGEN ingredients in BOLD.
This is a SUPER SEASONING for marinading meats, cold curing fish, seasoning steamed veg, or adding to a comforting winter soup or heart warming Spanish paella.

The smoked rock salt was a refill of the one I bought at the Motorhome and Camping Expo in Aberdeen last year. I use it often and find it great with my scrambled eggs. I bought two other mixes, Harissa and Thai rock salt. I make my own Hummus and used Flavour-Magic's Harissa in my take on a North African style Hummus recipe I created. It worked a treat as I can't find any decent shop bought pastes.
